Haines Watts strengthens its corporate finance team | North East Business News

Accountancy and business advisory firm Haines Watts continues to strengthen its business finance offering with a new appointment at its Newcastle office.

Lee Jefferson has been hired as deputy director of corporate finance, following the company’s plans to expand its work pipeline across the North East, Leeds, Manchester and Humber.

This is the second senior appointment in corporate finance in the last 12 months, following the arrival of Maria Mckenna as director at the start of the year.

Jefferson said: “Despite the ongoing Covid restrictions, Haines Watts has put a great deal of time and thought into welcoming newcomers. This, along with a number of familiar faces from previous jobs, has made it very easy to set up in a new environment.”

Chris Hird, Associate Corporate Finance Partner, added, “I am delighted to welcome Lee to our growing team. His expertise will be invaluable when it comes to supporting customers in the months ahead.

“Now we look forward to supporting business owners in the face of the changing demands of today’s climate, whether it’s with their plans for growth, accessing new sources of funding, or planning for their exit.”
