Kaleyra appoints Colin Gillis as VP of Investor Relations

(NYSE: KLR) (NYSE American: KLR WS) (“Kaleyra” or the “Company”), a rapidly growing omnichannel business communications platform, today announced that former equity research analyst Colin Gillis joined its management team as Vice President of Investor Relations, effective immediately. In this role, Gillis will regularly engage with the investment community to expand and enhance visibility of the company’s operations, growth strategy and results.
Gillis brings over a decade of relevant industry experience from his time spent analyzing public and private companies as an equity research analyst. Prior to joining Kaleyra, Gillis served as Director of Research at BGC Partners. He was also founding partner, director of research and principal technology analyst at Chatham Road Partners, an advisory firm for institutional investors. His most recent work has focused on cloud software, mobile computing, brand performance and advertising, payments and commerce, and the underlying platforms that power the digital economy. Additionally, he was previously ranked among the top 10 global analysts by the Financial Times.
Prior to these experiences, Gillis earned a BS Honors in Electrical Engineering from brown university and an MBA with honors from from New York University Stern School of Business. After completing graduate school, Gillis began his career in equity research covering workforce-driven digital and traditional emerging companies, first for the RBC Capital Markets research team and later for the Canaccord-Genuity research team, among other commitments. In addition to his equity research background, Gillis has developed a solid understanding of the internal development strategies of technology companies while working for a range of private startups and public multinational technology companies.
