National Development Bank PLC (NDB) has won the Silver Award for Best Investor Relations, at the recently concluded ninth edition of the CFA Sri Lanka Capital Market Awards 2022.
The ninth annual CFA Capital Market Awards, organized by the CFA Society Sri Lanka, was held at Cinnamon Grand Colombo, recognizing and rewarding excellence in local capital markets, with this year’s event themed Blockchain Revolution in Sri Lanka’s Capital Market.
The awards were presented in the five categories of Best Stock Research Team, Best Equity Research Report, Best Sector Report, Best Investor Relations and Best Investment Fund, with awards from gold, silver and bronze in each category.
NDB Bank was the recipient of this award for nurturing investor relations with strong internal processes and dedicated resources to ensure we add value to our shareholders and other related stakeholders in a meaningful way. The bank’s investor relations are based on well-planned events, the dissemination of quality information and the equal treatment of all participants, often with the participation of top management.
NDB has been a consistent recipient of CFA Sri Lanka’s Investor Relations Awards program since 2014, winning gold for four consecutive years from 2016 to 2019.
