First-quarter 2022 revenue

Revenue for the first quarter of 2022 amounted to €2.4 million, down 25% compared to the first quarter of 2021.
Although no revenue was recorded for MBE systems, this reflects the production cycle of the machines which have been ordered for 2022 and is not indicative of the Company’s performance over the entire period. ‘year.
Revenue from services and accessories (€2.4 million) posted a temporary contraction, down 25% due to the postponement of invoicing on a large order. They should therefore rebound strongly in the second quarter.
At the end of March 2022, the Company’s revenue breakdown was as follows: 50% in Europe, 39% in Asia and 11% in the United States.

During the first quarter, the Company recorded six orders for MBE systems, confirming the significant recovery in new orders despite the continuing obstacles to the granting of export licenses for certain contracts in Asia.
At the end of March 2022, the order book stood at €22.8 million, up 32% compared to the end of March 2021. The systems order book was up by 74% at €16.7 million, based on nine machines, including eight to be delivered in 2022. the order book for services and accessories is down 20% to €6.1 million, against a high comparison base.
Outlook for 2022
The Company expects revenue and profitability growth for 2022 compared to 2021.
At the same time, the Company expects to continue taking new orders in the second quarter of 2022 thanks to a strong pipeline of prospects for both systems and services.
