Wall Street vet Robert Samuels named vice president of investor relations and corporate communications at Comtech

Robert Samuelan investment and financial analysis professional with two decades of Wall Street experience, was named the first vice president of investor relations and corporate communications at Comtech Telecommunications (Nasdaq: CMTL).

Michael Porcelainpresident and chief executive officer of Comtech, said in a statement on Monday that Samuels will be responsible for helping the company assess non-GAAP measures and potential new segment information, as well as launch new initiatives on social networks.

Samuels most recently served as Executive Director at UBS Global Wealth Management and previously held senior positions at WJB Capital Group, Oppenheimer & Co., JPMorgan Chase & Co. (NYSE: JPM), Bear Stearns & Co. and Bank of America (NYSE: BAC).
