Bahrain Bourse and MEIRA organize a workshop on investor relations
The Bahrain Stock Exchange and the Middle East Investor Relations Association (MEIRA) held an Investor Relations (IR) workshop in the Kingdom of Bahrain titled “How to Build an Award-Winning IR Program” at the Harbor House, Bahrain Financial Harbour, which was organized by GFH The workshop is part of joint efforts by MEIRA and the Bahrain Stock Exchange to develop IR capabilities and advance investor relations programs of listed companies and promote IR best practices in the region.
The one-day event, attracted more than 40 IR practitioners and stakeholders from various listed companies attended the session, with several discussions on the main implications regarding best practices in annual reports and IR programs from the point of view. view of investor relations, followed by exclusive networking opportunities to converse with other IR professionals and market practitioners in the region.
During the workshop, panels and presentations, delegates discussed award-winning annual reports and improving award submissions, creating and delivering an award-winning IR program, and how to create and deploy an IR toolkit. The sessions highlighted the importance of addressing the key metrics that uniquely position each issuer’s RI story and enable them to achieve significant RI rewards. The workshop included presentations by the Middle East Investor Relations Association (MEIRA) and an international corporate communications consultancy; Instinctive partners.

It should be noted that the Bahrain Stock Exchange and the Middle East Investor Relations Association (MEIRA) officially launched the MEIRA chapter in Bahrain in April 2019 with the aim of developing and improving best practices in investor relations ( IR) throughout the Kingdom of Bahrain.
