The State of Tennessee’s MyTN app won a Government Experience Award from the Center for Digital Government.

“The Central Tennessee Technology Division continues to be recognized for its advancements in citizen services,” Finance Commissioner Jim Bryson said in a statement. “The division is working hard to stay ahead of the curve by bringing the latest technology solutions to the state in today’s rapidly changing technological environment.”

NASHVILLE — Tennessee’s mobile app connecting citizens to state services is named in the Center for Digital Government’s annual awards. MyTN provides a single point of access to a growing list of government services when and where users need them and offers notification and alert systems to keep users informed. MyTN is a product of the Strategic Technology Solutions (STS) of the Ministry of Finance and Administration and the Customer Focused Government Division.

“Tennessee’s Central Technology Division continues to be recognized for advancing its services to citizens. The division works hard to stay ahead of the curve by bringing the latest technology solutions to the state in today’s rapidly changing technology environment,” said Commissioner Jim Bryson. “It’s great to work with people who are dedicated to excellence in everything they do for Tennessee.”

The MyTN project is one of 13 across the country to receive the center’s Government Experience Awards for projects with a single area of ​​focus. The awards recognize state, city, and county achievements and best practices that radically improve the experience of government services.
