FiscalNote appoints Sara Buda as Vice President, Investor Relations

WASHINGTON-(BUSINESS WIRE)–TaxNote (NYSE:NOTE), a leading AI-driven enterprise SaaS company that provides market insights and data insights, announced the appointment of Sara Buda as Vice President, Investor Relations, effective immediately.
In the newly created role at FiscalNote, Buda brings more than two decades of experience in investor relations, corporate development, shareholder communications, analyst engagement, financial analysis and strategy. mergers and acquisitions in publicly traded companies, primarily in the technology and SaaS sectors. She was recently ranked the top investor relations professional in her industry and led the #1 ranked IR program, in Institutional investor.
Buda will serve as the company’s primary contact for investors, analysts and shareholders. His main responsibilities include: communication and engagement of analysts and investors; educate and inform the global investment community about FiscalNote’s financial performance, growth prospects and M&A strategies; managing the company’s quarterly results process; increase investor and analyst interest in the company as a long-term investment opportunity; participation in the investors’ conference; ongoing analysis of investor and market sentiment and stock performance; and the commitment of international investors.
Prior to joining FiscalNote, Buda most recently led the investor relations function at artificial intelligence robotics company Berkshire Gray (Nasdaq: BGRY), where she led the proactive and best-in-class IR program for the period from its recent stock market debut. Previously at Boston Properties (NYSE: BXP), the largest publicly traded developer and owner of Class A office properties in the United States, Buda developed and implemented a strategic investor relations program for the S&P 500 REIT of $20 billion, increasing and broadening the company’s investor base. During her 16 years as Senior Vice President of Investor Relations and Corporate Development at Lionbridge Technologies, Buda built the company’s IR department and integrated it into a robust and impactful function. which expanded the investor base while managing three separate public offerings. She also launched Lionbridge’s corporate development program, completed three acquisitions and helped launch a new business unit to drive the company’s growth and industry leadership. Buda has a BS from Syracuse University and studied finance at Northeastern University. She is a member of the National Institute of Investor Relations and the National Association of Professional Women.
