CHICAGO, August 22, 2022 /PRNewswire/ — GTCR, a leading private equity firm, today announced that Jodi Rubenstein joined the firm as Managing Director, Investor Relations. Ms. Rubenstein joins GTCR with over 15 years of investment management experience, with a focus on private equity and other alternative investments. Leading the company’s Investor Relations function from GTCR Chicago offices, Ms. Rubenstein will be responsible for coordinating all of the company’s investor relations and fundraising activities, while serving as a senior executive contributing to the company’s growth plan and strategy.
Ms. Rubenstein joins the firm from Goldman Sachs, where she most recently served as Managing Director and Head of Midwest Private Wealth Management based in Chicago. Previously, she was responsible for Goldman Sachs’ Alternative Capital Markets group for the Americas, based in New York. Mrs. Rubenstein is a Chicago-native of the region and holder of an MBA from New York University and a BBA from University of Michigan.
In this lead role, Ms. Rubenstein will oversee all aspects of GTCR’s investor engagement, including fundraising and investor communications. She will participate in GTCR’s investment committee process and work to communicate the company’s investment considerations to its limited partners and other constituents. Ms. Rubenstein will work with investment professionals and firm staff to maintain the highest standards of reporting and service to her limited partners. Ms. Rubenstein will also join the leadership of many key initiatives within the company, including our ESG and DEI efforts as a member of the company’s ESG-DEI Steering Committee.
