Congratulations to the PCPS Finance Department and all the bookkeepers who work in our schools and school board office. They are responsible for carrying out the day-to-day financial and accounting work in their school or department and they have an extremely important role in managing and allocating resources to our division and school leadership, teachers and staff.
In particular, the school board’s fiscal year 2021 audit had no audit findings and only one audit comment that was unrelated to the performance of their financial/accounting functions. Additionally, the draft FY2022 School Activities Funds Audit Copy was provided for management review and is one of the best in many years, including 3 of our 7 schools receiving a perfect audit without audit comments.
We appreciate these hard-working employees and want to recognize them for their contributions to Pulaski County Public Schools.
