M&A market ‘not slowing down’ as Hentons Corporate Finance makes new appointment

Hentons Corporate Finance, which has offices in Sheffield, Leeds, York and London, has grown rapidly over the past 12 months.

He has now appointed James Pridmore as corporate finance director, based in Sheffield.

Corporate finance director Chris Sellars said the size of his team had doubled in the past year.

“At the moment, there doesn’t appear to be any downturn in the M&A market as the aftermath of Covid continues,” he said.

“There are still strong forces on the supply and demand side as business owners weigh their lifestyle choices and venture capitalists and private funders seek to invest their reserves. accumulated.

“James brings with him experience in this area from a top 10 accounting firm and will add a vital additional resource to our team as we look to continue our growth over the remainder of the year and into 2023. “

Mr. Pridmore said: “It’s exciting to move to a company that has ambitious plans. I will be part of a very busy team that is getting better and better.

“As Head of Corporate Finance, my main roles will be due diligence, corporate research and project management.”

Hentons Corporate Finance, which includes its own in-house corporate services legal team, is a joint venture with Hentons Chartered Accountants employing 145 people in seven offices in Sheffield, Leeds, York, Doncaster, Hertford and London.
