Paul Heaven, managing director of Jerroms Corporate Finance, resigns

Jerroms Corporate Finance Managing Director Paul Heaven has announced his retirement.

He frequently speaks at corporate finance events and has held a variety of external advisory roles, such as non-executive director of Birmingham’s Women’s and Children’s Hospital and member of Greater Birmingham’s joint Growing Business and Access to Finance sub-committee & Solihull Local. Business partnership.

Heaven has acquired extensive expertise in acquisitions, sales, IPO and fundraising over the years and has become an expert in corporate finance, venture capital, private equity and financing of assets.

In 1988 Heaven created Blue Sky Corporate Finance and in October 2019 it merged with Jerroms.

David Fletcher, who joined Jerroms Corporate Finance in 2021 from the corporate finance teams of Aston Lark, Hazlewoods and Watersheds, has been appointed to succeed him. During this period, he acquired extensive experience in acquisitions, divestitures, MBOs, MBIs and fundraising in SMEs and owner-managed companies.

He will continue to serve the company as a non-executive director.

Heaven remarked, “I will look back with great fondness on my time spent in the financial industry. It was interesting, sometimes demanding, but always rewarding. I had a rather fortunate career that was both diverse and fascinating. I must now hand over control of Jerroms Corporate Finance to a successor who will take over the task in the future. David and the rest of the Jerroms team, in my opinion, are now in the best position to do so, and I wish them all the best.

“After a long, illustrious and successful career, I wish Paul the best in a well-deserved retirement,” Fletcher said. I look forward to the opportunities my new position will present, to build on its success and grow the business.
