recruits in M&A at Lexington Corporate Finance | Wales Business News
Cardiff-based Lexington Corporate Finance has strengthened its ability to deal in its target SME and mid-market markets with a new appointment.
Courtney Mattocks joins the award-winning corporate finance consultancy after working in corporate finance for Azets and a regional practice in East Anglia.
Beginning his career in auditing, Mattocks later qualified as a Chartered Accountant. He also holds a degree in Accounting and Finance from the University of East Anglia.
Lexington Chief Executive Gary Partridge said, “Courtney joins us at an important time in delivering on our ambitious growth plans, as we seek to strengthen our team by building on the impressive growth platform we have implemented over the past three years.
“His previous M&A experience fits perfectly with the existing team and it’s a real benefit for us to have attracted someone of his caliber to Lexington.”
This appointment follows a period of growth for Lexington. Last year the team completed over £160m in deals and won Corporate Finance Team of the Year at the 2021 Wales Dealmakers Awards.
Mattocks said: “I can’t thank Gary and the team enough for giving me the opportunity to join Lexington at this point in their journey. The entire Lexington team has a positive, positive attitude and are absolutely focused on providing the best in class-leading customer service. These are some of their core values that led me to take on this role.”
