SRC Corporate Finance advises on the acquisition of a logistics company | Southeast Deals

Prominent trading firm SRC Corporate Finance advised on the takeover of a cross-border logistics company.

Delivery By Express, based in Milan, has been taken over by Worldnet International, which has its European headquarters in Colnbrook near Slough.

The acquired business caters to the fashion and luxury industries and has operated as a service partner of Worldnet in Italy for several decades.

The founder and managing director of DBE, Andres Pirri, will now be part of Worldnet International Italia Srl.

“DBE has been my life’s work for over 30 years,” he said. “The company has always had a service-oriented mindset and I am grateful that Worldnet shares the same vision.

“I am delighted to help Worldnet Italy grow in the future.”

Richard Bhullar, Managing Director of Worldnet International, added: “We couldn’t be more delighted to bring Andres and his team into the Worldnet family.

“DBE has been an excellent partner of Worldnet for a long time and they have built their own business on the fundamental principle of meeting the most urgent and demanding needs of customers.

“We look forward to accelerating our strategy with this key Italian presence in the years to come.”

Rupert Rawcliffe, Ella Young and Ben Valentine or SRC Corporate Finance advised on the deal, as did RBS’s Mathew Glentworth, Irwin Mitchell and Azets (Dan Nixon).
