Stryker appoints new Head of Investor Relations
Stryker has promoted a new vice president of investor relations.
The Kalamazoo-based medical device and technology company said last week that it appointed Jason Beach to the role, effective July 1. He will report to Glenn Boehnlein, the company’s chief financial officer.
Preston Wells, the current vice president of investor relations, will be named vice president, group chief financial officer for Stryker’s orthopedics and spine businesses.
Beach will work closely with Boehnlein and Wells to ensure a smooth transition.
“I’m excited about the business experience and financial discipline that Jason will bring to our Investor Relations team,” Boehnlein said. “I also want to thank Preston for strengthening our investor relations capabilities and supporting the growth of our business.”
Beach has over 20 years of experience in finance, operations, IT and other global business services. He joined Stryker in 2018, and in his final leadership role as Vice President of Finance for Stryker’s Instruments Division, he supported the growth of this market-leading business and successfully closed and integrated 10 purchases. He also led the implementation of statutory accounting principles for the division’s financial services functions.
Additionally, Beach was responsible for the planning, implementation, management and control of all financial activities in the division and led the business development function of Instruments.
Prior to Stryker, he spent 20 years at the Kellogg Company, holding various positions of increasing responsibility.
Beach earned a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Siena Heights University.
